Family photographs are all about capturing the essence of your family dynamic, as it is right now, whether it be at home, hanging out at the washing line or exploring out in nature.
Because tomorrow it could very well be different. New teeth cut, or maybe they just nestle into your neck differently than they did before.
It’s my firm belief as a mother that time truly does fly (even if some days seem to drag out for an eternity) and immortalising those precious moments before they’re gone is immensely important.
Camera rolls quickly get filled of the kids on their own but it's not often that you as parents are present in them too, so let me take care of that!
This session is perfect for families that simply want to focus on their close parent/children dynamic. It's a mixture of posed portraits (usually at the beginning to help you warm up in front of the camera), and then loosely directed play.
It's always cool to see what play means to families. Some give each other piggy back rides and play tickle monster, others lie down together, snuggle, and look for shapes in the clouds.
Most important to me is documenting how you interact as that is what you wish you could remember with each passing year.

If you've got a big brood or would like to include the grandies, this session is for you.
Extended family dynamics can change and it's not often everyone can be together for a photo - with cherished family living across the ditch, I can certainly relate.
To me, it’s about having a keepsake, something you can add to the family tree to mark the years that pass all too quickly.
Full sessions are all about taking the time to paint the entire picture of your family - bigger groups as well as smaller vignettes.
You can book a full session even if you have small numbers but would like to take your time and potentially do an outfit change.

We can discuss location options depending on the session you choose and you can read the styling guide on what to wear.
Then comes the session, the really fun part!
A few weeks after the shoot you'll be sent your own private gallery.
From there you can select your finals and order your complimentary prints.
Once we've found a date and time that works for us both, I'll send deposit information and a contract. Once I've received those your booking is confirmed.
